Thermal Unit

The Proflush Thermal Unit is designed to be able to heat the system water up to 60°C when the boiler is not available.

By introducing heat into the system the chemicals work quicker. For every 10°C increase in temperature the chemicals work 3 times faster than at 40°C. The Proflush is capable of handling temperatures up to 85 °C when the boiler is utilised. Hoses will operate at 90°C and 20 Bar.

When it is possible to run the boiler at the normal 72-76°C during the flushing process, the average three bedroom house with 8-10 radiators can be completed in around 4 to 4.5 hours, whereas Powerflushing cold could take at least a full day. (Or even longer depending on the type of system and how bad it has become).
